Cleantek Centrifugal oil mist collectors utilize the principle of centrifugal force to separate oil mist from the air. The contaminated air enters the collector unit, where it is directed into a chamber with a high-speed rotating impeller or rotor. As the air spins within the chamber, the centrifugal force causes the heavier oil mist particles to move outward towards the walls of the chamber.

Once the oil mist particles reach the outer walls of the chamber, they adhere to the surfaces or coalesce into larger droplets due to the impact forces. The separated oil droplets then drain down into a collection reservoir at the bottom of the collector unit, while the purified air continues to circulate. In some centrifugal oil mist collectors, additional filtration stages may be incorporated to enhance the purification process. This can include the use of mesh filters or coalescing filters to capture finer oil mist particles and ensure cleaner air emission.

After the oil mist is separated and collected, the purified air is exhausted back into the machining environment or may undergo further filtration before being released into the atmosphere. This helps maintain a cleaner and safer working environment for machine operators and reduces the risk of oil mist buildup on surrounding surfaces and equipment.
